Phoenix Cyber is seeking a skilled ServiceNow Developer to support our customers’ configuration and development objectives. This is a fully remote position. A successful ServiceNow Developer will demonstrate competency in ServiceNow and understand the full implementation cycle of ServiceNow while upholding the highest standard of ethical behavior.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of Software Development experience
- 3+ years of ServiceNow Development experience
- Understanding of Java, Integration, and API Development experience
- Experience in development, implementation, and deployment of ServiceNow modules using Agile DevSecOps techniques in a client environment
- Experience with ServiceNow platform capabilities in a client environment
- Experience with ServiceNow Business Rules and scripting
- Secret/TS Security Clearance required
- CompTIA Security+
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or ICAgile Certified
Responsibilities
- Configure and customize core ServiceNow modules such as GRC, ITSM, ITOM, HR, CSM, or other applications
- Design, develop, and implement custom ServiceNow applications to meet business requirements
- Gather requirements from stakeholders and translate them into technical solutions within ServiceNow
- Create and manage workflows and automated processes using ServiceNow's Flow Designer, Workflow Editor, and Business Rules
- Build and customize UI components with ServiceNow’s UI policies, UI actions, client scripts, and Glide scripting
- Manage platform administration including user access, system configuration, and performance monitoring
- Perform unit testing and support user acceptance testing to ensure quality
- Maintain technical documentation such as design documents, architecture diagrams, and user guides
- Provide support and maintenance for existing ServiceNow implementations, including resolving issues and applying upgrades
- Participate in Agile development processes like sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
- Stay updated with the latest ServiceNow releases and features, recommending platform improvements
- Ensure security compliance in development and data handling
- Collaborate with IT teams for system integrations with other enterprise tools
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ServiceNow performance and integrations
- Develop and maintain integrations with external systems using REST, SOAP, and other technologies
