Job summary

CGS Federal seeks a mid-level ServiceNow Developer to join our IT team supporting a large Federal agency. You will develop with AngularJS, JavaScript, and SQL, support HRSD workflows, and implement HR service requests while collaborating in an Agile environment. A BS degree and CSA certification are required, with 2+ years ServiceNow experience.

You will refine platform configurations, build test data, support releases, and help ensure high-quality service delivery in a dynamic federal setting.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 3-7 years related experience.
• 2+ years ServiceNow development experience.
• ServiceNow CSA certification.
• Experience creating reports/dashboards, customized forms, and workflows in ServiceNow.
• Experience with Agile Development and Test Management in ServiceNow.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience delivering frequent software releases in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop using AngularJS, JavaScript, SQL for ServiceNow.
• Support discovery, requirements gathering, and core ServiceNow functionality.
• Implement HR Service Requests within HRSD scope.
• Develop apps to facilitate employee services to HR and HR fulfilment.
• Refactor customizations during major ServiceNow updates.
• Collaborate with developers and analysts in Agile settings.
• Understand backend configuration, design tests, and build test data.
• Support configuration, change, and release management.
• Ensure accuracy and timely completion of work products.
