Job summary

Leidos in Washington, DC is building a brand-new Agile development team to modernize federal IT infrastructure. You will architect, build, and integrate ServiceNow modules in a secure, on-site setting, collaborating across engineering and analysis teams.

You will work with ITSM, OMT, TSM, TSOM modules, drive upgrades, and design robust business processes in an Agile Scrum environment. A TS/SCI clearance and Security+ or higher are required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Support setup, configuration, and implementation of ServiceNow ITSM, OMT, TSM, and TSOM.
• Build and maintain forms, reports, views, workflows, dashboards, and schedules.

• Coordinate platform and application upgrades.
• Help design and document business process flows and propose solutions.
• Configure ServiceNow functions and workflows to support ticketing, order management, and re-engineered processes.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Education and experience depending on job level:

  • Level III: Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and 4-8 years of relevant experience. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Level IV: Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and 8-12 years of relevant experience (or a Master’s and 6+ years). Additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Level V: Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and 12+ years of relevant experience (or a Master’s and 10+ years). Additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree.

• At least 3 years of experience with the design, development, and support of technology infrastructure.

• At least 2 years of ServiceNow development.

• Experience with ServiceNow upgrades.

• The qualified candidate shall have excellent customer service skills and the ability to work independently, prioritize, schedule, and complete multiple tasks.

• Ability to multi-task and self-assign work in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong communication skills that enable proactive and effective collaboration with a virtual team, including the ability to clearly articulate status and present to both customers and program leadership. Candidateshall have the ability to develop and present management level briefings.

• Demonstrate potential and willingness to learn and adapt to rapid changes in technology.

• Open to receiving mentoring from senior developers.

Preferred Qualifications:

• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer
• Experience or familiarity with Agile development and testing methodology
• Exposure to ServiceNow applications like Telecommunication Management System (TSM), Telecommunications Network Inventory (TNI), Order Management Telecommunications (OMT) modules, etc.
• Experience with JIRA, Git and Confluence.
• Understanding of ITIL foundation or ITIL certified.
• AWS cloud and ServiceNow certifications.
• Experience working with large software systems including hardware integration and test.
• Experience working with multi-disciplinary technical development teams.
• Experience using SAFe as the agile development methodology.
• Experience moving from a legacy application to a new application
• Experience applying test automation, test-driven development, continuous integration, and continuous deployment to achieve built-in quality by the team.
• Experience using Kanban to improve flow on support teams.
• Experience with DevOps/DevSecOps and CI/CD implementation.
