Job description

Overview

Our client an award winning federal integrator, assisting various federal agencies in transforming how they deliver their HR Services. They have an opening for a ServiceNow Developer to work on a MULTI-YEAR project, where you will collaborate with customers, business analysts, and team members to define and document user, functional, and technical requirements. With those requirements, you will develop workflow customizations, support Service transformation teams, and create and evaluate user stories for ServiceNow development. This is a REMOTE opportunity.

Per our Federal Government Contract, candidates must be US Citizensand be able to pass the client’s background check.

Responsibilities
  • Code, test, implement, maintain, and support application changes.
  • Manage core system configuration as the ServiceNow SME.
  • Implement ServiceNow solutions and customize applications.
  • Facilitate the rollout of new applications and modules, configure Application UI, and set up workflows.
  • Collaborate with other ServiceNow administrators to develop solutions and manage updates and configuration requests.
  • Identify and address system deficiencies with recommended solutions.
  • Maintain and improve processes, standards, policies, methods, and tools.
  • Ensure consistency in tool configuration across development, QA, and production environments.
  • Provide ongoing production support and assist end users.
Qualifications
  • At least 6+ years of overall experience, including 4+ years specifically in ServiceNow.
  • Must have hands-on experience with the ServiceNow HRSD and Discovery module, including implementation, configuration, updates, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience implementing ServiceNow for a Federal agency.
  • Strong understanding of ServiceNow Global Scope and foundational data such as Location, Organization, and CMDB, with solutioning expertise.
  • Proficiency in developing solutions using Scoped Applications in ServiceNow.
  • Working knowledge of developing within the Service Catalog.
  • Expertise in ServiceNow ITSM products.
  • Experience integrating systems using JDBC, SQL, SOAP, or REST directly or through a mid-server.

  • Ability to research and evaluate technology partner or vendor solutions for integration with client systems.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the ServiceNow ecosystem with hands-on expertise.
  • Thrives in collaborative environments using agile methodologies and innovative design approaches.
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a creative mindset.
  • Adaptability to change with strong time management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a team-focused approach to achieving results.
  • Commitment to staying current with technical knowledge through workshops and publications.

Compensation

  • Competitive salary range of $115k - $125K based on experience, qualifications, location, and certifications. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
  • Employee benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, long-term disability insurance, 401K plan and additional voluntary benefits.Salaried personnel receive paid time off.
