Job summary

Universal Music Group seeks a Data & Analytics Engineer, ServiceNow, to deliver trusted reporting and insights across the ServiceNow platform. You’ll define KPI standards, build dashboards, automate data quality checks, and enable stakeholders to make data-driven decisions on service performance and delivery outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent work experience) in IT, Data/Analytics, Engineering, or related discipline.
• 5+ years of analytics, reporting, or data engineering experience in an enterprise environment.
• 3+ years delivering ServiceNow reporting/analytics (Reporting/Performance Analytics)
• Experience defining metric standards and KPI scorecards with multiple stakeholder groups.
• Experience building dashboards and reporting assets with Power BI/Tableau and other BI tools.
• Experience working with data sources/integrations and producing governed datasets for reporting consumption.

Responsibilities

• Own ServiceNow reporting and analytics delivery (dashboards, scorecards, operational and executive reporting).
• Define and standardize KPI/metric definitions with Platform and Product leadership.
• Build and maintain reporting datasets, extracts, and integrations to downstream BI tools.
• Implement automated data quality checks and reconcile reporting anomalies.
• Develop and maintain self-service analytics assets (dashboards, filters, drilldowns).
• Provide on-demand insights on throughput, SLA performance, adoption, and bottlenecks.
• Enable release and operations reporting (change success, defect leakage, incident trends).
• Document metric definitions and reporting artefacts for auditability.
