Job summary

Aramsco is seeking a Service Writer to provide exceptional customer service and support the service department by managing repair orders, scheduling work, and ensuring efficient shop operations. This role emphasizes accurate documentation, clear customer communication, and maintaining department quality.

The position offers $24/hr plus bonus and requires strong communication, organizational skills, and the ability to lift 50+ lbs. Prior service/repair experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a friendly, professional, and helpful manner.
• Accurately assess and document equipment issues for commercial cleaning, restoration, and surface preparation equipment.
• Create clear and complete work orders for all repairs and maintenance.
• Proactively contact customers to review service needs and schedule appointments to maintain a full, efficient workflow.
• Coordinate shop operations, including workflow, communication, employee efficiency, and paperwork.
• Monitor and meet department quality and productivity goals.
• Maintain appropriate inventory levels and ensure parts are stocked accurately.
• Deliver parts to local vendors as needed.
• Keep the work area organized, clean, and professional.
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
• Demonstrate dependability, punctuality, and professionalism at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned, including occasional overtime.
