Job summary

Performance Toyota Fairfield is seeking an experienced Service Writer with a minimum of three years in the field to provide personalized service recommendations for light maintenance and repairs. The role offers a competitive salary range and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Service Writer experience preferred.
• High school diploma/GED preferred.
• Competent level of computer literacy.
• Valid driver’s license with a driving record that allows you to drive customers and company vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Maintain your Customer Satisfaction Scores at or above the district goal.
• Receiving in customers and their automobiles in the most effective and timely manner.
• Constant communication with your service technicians.
• Calling customers with diagnostic results and recommendations from your technicians.
• Selling the recommendations from your technicians.
• Communicate authorized recommendations to your technicians with a “promise time” for completion of work.
• Prompt call to customers when vehicle is washed and ready.
• Notify your customer if there are any delays to the “promise time” and why; before the “promised time” for pick up.
• Close all repair orders and review with customers as they pick up their automobiles.
