Black Bear Auto in Bristol, CT is seeking a Service Writer to warmly greet customers, document vehicle needs, and communicate repair plans clearly. You will work with technicians and managers to ensure accurate estimates and timely updates to customers.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Schedule appointments with customers.
• Ensure effective communication between service technicians and customers.
• Inspect vehicles and diagnose problems.
• Provide estimates based on parts and labor costs and deductibles, after verifying warranty coverage.
• Prepare accurate repair orders and document problems and repairs.
• Update customers on service recommendations from technicians.
• Maintain and enhance knowledge of automotive maintenance and repairs.
