Job summary

Kentucky River Community Care is seeking a Service Worker to maintain a clean and safe environment. Responsibilities include cleaning and sanitizing, ordering supplies, and landscaping tasks.

The ideal candidate requires a High School diploma or GED and preferred experience with industrial floor cleaning equipment. This is a Regular Full-Time position located in Breathitt County, Kentucky.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and safe environment in assigned facility.
• Perform interior cleaning and sanitizing tasks.
• Order cleaning supplies and maintain inventory.
• Conduct landscaping and pressure washing.
• Manage floor care including stripping and waxing.

Primary Functions:

• Responsible for maintaining a neat, clean, and safe environment in assigned facility. Tasks including, but not limited to, interior cleaning/sanitizing of walls, floors, windows, bathrooms, furniture, etc.
• Remove inside garbage, police grounds for trash, cigarette butts, etc.
• Order cleaning supplies and maintain inventory.
• Landscaping and pressure washing.
• Floor care - strip, wax, buff, and carpet shampooing.
• Report any needed repairs on a maintenance request form.
• Participate in scheduled department meetings.
