Job summary

Ring Power Corporation is seeking a Service Welder II to perform welding and fabrication, interpret drawings, assemble components, and document repairs while maintaining safety and contamination control policies. Requires 3-4 years experience and weld certifications (3G/4G SMAW, FCAW, GMAW).

Candidates will work in Florida at Ring Power locations, with training and opportunities to mentor others; must pass required training classes and maintain proper PPE and shop conditions.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 3-4 years welding and fabricating experience.
• Welding certifications: 3G/4G SMAW, FCAW, GMAW.
• Able to comprehend written material and communicate clearly.
• Knowledge of safety requirements for welding and metal removal.
• Proficient with computer and dealer software programs.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble and assemble machine components to manufacturer specifications.
• Weld and fabricate as per procedures, interpreting drawings.
• Maintain tools and perform basic maintenance, housekeeping and contamination control.
• Document repairs and track repair times using appropriate software.
• Monitor job expenses against estimates and communicate any overruns.
• Train or mentor others in the department and support the team.
