Job description

PMC Commercial Interiors, a Best In Class Haworth dealer serving the Carolinas, is seeking a Service & Warranty Coordinator to join our team.

The Service & Warranty Coordinator will manage the warranty process, from initial customer contact through final resolution. This position requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and strong communication abilities. You will work closely with vendors and internal and external clients to ensure warranty claims are processed accurately and efficiently, providing exceptional customer service along the way.

Responsibilities:
  • Process warranty claims for defective or damaged products and general service requests.
  • Verify product defects to ensure claims are valid and determine necessary parts for repairs.
  • Enter orders and submit purchase orders to manufacturers.
  • Receive and verify acknowledgments, confirming product, pricing, and shipping details.
  • Ensure timely delivery and installation of parts.
  • Submit labor reimbursement claims to vendors.
  • Identify trends and address with the PMC Procurement Team.
  • Actively work to reduce the number of days to resolve an issue.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing concerns and offering solutions related to warranty issues.
  • Work with Accounts Receivable to ensure timely and accurate billing of invoices.
Qualifications/Skills:
  • Previous experience in warranty coordination, customer service, or a related administrative role (commercial furniture dealership experience a plus).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Knowledge of commercial furniture products and warranties a plus.
  • Familiarity with NetSuite a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Exceptional follow-through, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Creative problem-solving skills with clear judgment and decisiveness.
  • Innovative, always looking for improvement opportunities.
  • Ability to advocate for both clients and vendors in the best interest of PMC.
