Job Description

Summary:

The Service Valet will be responsible for assisting with vehicle movement, giving shuttle rides, performing valet pickups and drop offs, and maintaining the dealership’s appearance while delivering exceptional customer service.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Greets all customers entering the service area with a friendly and professional attitude, answers their questions, and directs them to the appropriate person or location.
  • Gives shuttle rides and performs valet pick-ups and drop offs.
  • Determines if customers coming into service have an appointment.
  • Records customer’s name, VIN, tag number, mileage, and existing vehicle damage (walk around).
  • Moves and parks vehicles in the dealership premises to maintain flow of traffic.
  • Drives vehicles to and from service lane, service stalls, and parking lot as needed.
  • Keeps the dealership lot, driveways, and sidewalks clean, organized, and presentable.
  • Provides excellent customer service when interacting with customers and directing them to the appropriate personnel.
  • Retrieves customer vehicles at cashier for pick-up; waits at vehicle for customer, thanks customers for their business.
  • Installs disposable seat covers, steering wheel covers, floor mats, and I.D. tags in all vehicles taken in for service.
  • Assists with loaner vehicles and keeping the shop clean.
  • Follows all company safety policies and procedures and immediately reports any and all accidents to a manager or supervisor.

Qualifications:

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Physically able to drive and move vehicles.
  • Strong attention to detail to maintain the dealership’s professional appearance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be authorized to work in the USA.
  • Must be willing to undergo pre-employment compliance requirements: Drug testing, background check, MVR.

Compensation (Hourly):

  • $20.00 / hour

*The Porter Position has a Pay Scale consisting of the following elements and ranges. Wages include Base Hourly Compensation of twenty dollars an hour.*

Schedule:

  • FULL TIME
  • 5 days a week / 2 days off
  • Sundays off
  • Saturday availability required
  • 401k plan with company match
  • Paid Time Off accrual
  • Closed for Thanksgiving day and Christmas day
