Job Description

Maintain a smooth flow of vehicles through the Service Drive. Automotive Service Valet - Essential Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Greeting all customers entering the service area with a friendly, upbeat attitude, answering questions, and directing them appropriately.
  • Controlling service traffic flow and parking.
  • Assisting service advisors when needed.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe service drive area, free of dirt, water, leaves, snow, etc.
  • Maintaining a professional appearance.
  • Placing vehicle interior protection in each vehicle.
  • Tagging keys and placing mirror tags in all vehicles.
  • Moving vehicles to designated parking areas, ensuring windows are up and vehicles are locked.
  • Advising management of any customer articles left inside vehicles.
  • Adhering to all customer service processes.
  • Filling in for shuttle drivers as needed.
  • Bringing customers’ vehicles to the front of the service drive when directed.
  • Ensuring vehicles are clean from dirt and grease after service.
  • Performing light lifting duties as needed.
  • Reading and understanding simple instructions, correspondence, and memos.
  • Effectively presenting information to customers and employees.
  • Interpreting safety rules, instructions, and manuals.
  • Writing routine reports and correspondence.
  • Applying common sense to carry out instructions and solve practical problems.
