Job summary

Capital Ford of Wilmington is hiring a pick up and delivery attendant/porter for our service department. You will pick up and deliver vehicles, transport and park them, and greet customers at the service drive.

A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required, with manual transmission experience preferred. Excellent customer service, attention to detail, and a positive attitude are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record (no major violations).
• Manual transmission experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Pick up and deliver vehicles to locations around New Hanover and surrounding counties in a safe and timely manner.
• Transport and park vehicles in designated service areas.
• Greet customers and check in vehicles.
• Maintain a professional appearance and grooming standards; report for work on time.
• Assist in other areas of the department as needed.
• Maintain high ethical standards in all actions.

Capital Ford of Wilmington is hiring a pick up and delivery attendant/porter for our service department.

The pick up and delivery driver must be able to do the following on a day-to-day basis:

Pick up and deliver vehicles to various locations all around New Hanover and surrounding counties in a safe and timely manner

Transport and park vehicles in designated service areas

Maintain a focus on obeying traffic laws

Follow driving directions

Display excellent customer service skills

Develop and maintain working relationships with coworkers in several areas of the dealership

Operate vehicles and equipment in a safe manner

Assist in all other areas of the Department, as needed

Maintain high ethical standards in all actions

Maintain a high level of grooming, hygiene, and uniform appearance
Report for work at assigned time

Greet customers and check in vehicles
