The CAR Group (Norm Reeves Dealerships) in Covina, CA is seeking a Service Valet. This full-time, on-site role pays $17.00 per hour and offers a path into automotive service careers. You’ll be the friendly first contact in the service drive, directing guests and ensuring vehicles are handled with care.

This entry-level position emphasizes safety, punctuality, and strong customer service, with growth opportunities within the dealership network and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Full-time availability and minimum age of 18.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Experience driving a range of vehicles is a plus; manual transmission a plus.
• Strong safety awareness and accountability.
• Excellent communication and a positive attitude.
• Attention to presentation and detail.

Responsibilities

• Greets all customers entering the service area with a friendly, upbeat attitude, answers their questions, and directs them to the appropriate person or location.
• Controls service traffic flow and parking.
• Determines if customers coming into service have an appointment.
• Records customer’s name, VIN, tag number, mileage, and existing vehicle damage.
• Assists service advisors when needed.
• Maintains a clean and safe service drive area, free of dirt, water, leaves, snow, etc.
• Maintains a professional appearance.
• Place vehicle Interior Protection in each vehicle.
• Tag keys and place mirror tags in all vehicles.
• Move vehicles to appointed parking area and ensure all windows are up and all vehicles are locked.
• Adhere to all customer service processes.
• Fill in for shuttle drivers as needed.
• Bring customers’ vehicles to the front of service drive when directed.
• Ensure customers’ vehicle is free of dirt and grease from their service visit.
• Guides vehicles through the car wash.
• Light lifting duties when needed.

As a Service Valet, you’re one of the most important members at Norm Reeves Honda, West Covina. You are responsible for creating a great service experience for our guests and ensuring all guest vehicles are handled with excellent care. Your positivity and attention to detail are what keep our guests coming back time after time.
