Job Title: SERVICE TIRE TECHNICIAN

Join to apply for the SERVICE TIRE TECHNICIAN role at Southside Tire.

Job Requirements:

1. Provide truck tire related services to the transportation industry at our shop, roadside, and customer locations.
2. Pick up and deliver mounted wheel tire assemblies; company provides all tools and equipment.
3. Unbolt and remove wheels using lug wrenches or power tools.
4. Separate tubed tires from wheels, and seal punctures in tubeless tires with adhesive and rubber plugs.
5. Rotate tires, replace valve stems, remount wheels, and reassemble tires onto wheels.
6. Raise vehicles with hydraulic jacks, prepare rims for reassembly, and patch tubes with adhesive rubber patches or vulcanizing plates.
7. Order replacements, locate punctures, inspect tires for defects, and inflate tires accordingly.
8. Clean and organize the shop area.

Other Experience and Qualifications: Mechanical aptitude is helpful.
