General Motors & Chrysler Service Technicians - Berlin, MD

Up to $40/hour & NO WEEKENDS

i.g. Burton Auto Group is looking to add qualified, experienced auto service technicians to fulfill repair, warranty, and maintenance orders on our vehicles.

Service technicians will enjoy working in our state-of-the-art facility, offering the latest technological advances.

Sign-on bonus available to qualified applicants.

GM & CDJR certifications preferred.

Teamwork with other technicians, service advisors, parts department, service manager, and customer interaction is essential. Our technicians need to perform accurate and efficient diagnostic inspections, repairs, ensure proper completion of work, follow manufacturer and dealership protocols. Factory training is preferred but not required.

• Accurately diagnose problems utilizing system diagnostics and testing
• Perform thorough, efficient, timely, and quality repairs
• Maintain safety standards at all times and keep a neat work area
• Communicate clearly (both written and verbal) with service advisors and management
• Demonstrate professionalism, integrity, honesty, and appropriate behavior with co-workers, management, and customers
• Road-test vehicles to ensure quality of repairs
• Continue technical education regularly

Qualifications:

• Ability to diagnose and repair automotive mechanical problems efficiently
• ASE certification preferred
• Ability to lift, bend, stand, and operate shop tools without impairment
