If so, Blossman Gas & Appliance invites you to submit your application online for the open GAS SERVICE TECHNICIAN or SERVICE APPRENTICE position at our growing Bowdon location. With over 80 branch locations across 12 states, Blossman Gas is the largest independent propane company in America. Our Service Technicians install propane tanks for residential and commercial customers and service, maintain, and install gas comfort equipment such as water heaters, dryers, ranges/stoves, fireplaces, generators, and more. Apprentices work alongside Service Technicians to learn hands-on skills, participate in classroom and online learning, and gain valuable experience. The SERVICE TECHNICIAN role is ideal for individuals with prior propane, appliance installation/repair, or mechanical experience who enjoy local work. Our Apprenticeship program can lead to roles as Service Technician, Senior Service Technician, and Master Technician upon meeting specific educational milestones.

The Service Technician position requires strong customer service skills, occasional on-call duties, and teamwork. There is significant growth potential within this role and our company. A strong commitment to safety, aligned with company policies, is essential. Apprenticeship candidates do not need prior experience but should have some mechanical work experience, familiarity with hand tools, and a positive attitude towards learning a trade.
