Job summary

Window World of Baton Rouge is seeking a dependable Service Technician to service, repair, and maintain residential windows, doors, and siding. You will diagnose issues, perform installations, and ensure high quality workmanship for homeowners.

Ideal candidates have construction or home improvement experience, strong problem-solving skills, and excellent customer service. We offer training if needed and a Monday–Friday schedule with overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Comfortable working with hand and power tools.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Dependable, punctual, and ready to work.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to report to our Baton Rouge location daily.
• Construction, carpentry, remodeling, maintenance, masonry, window/door installation, or other home improvement experience is a plus.
• No direct window experience? We will train the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Service, repair, and maintain residential windows, doors, and siding.
• Diagnose issues and determine the best solution for repairs.
• Repair or replace vinyl windows, entry doors, siding, and related components.
• Perform caulking, sealing, painting, and finishing work as needed.
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met.
• Communicate professionally with homeowners and provide excellent customer service.
• Document completed service and repair work.
• Maintain company tools, equipment, and vehicle.
• Drive a company vehicle to customer homes and job sites throughout the area.
• Follow company safety procedures and maintain a clean, professional work environment.
