Job summary

Kyle Plumbing Inc in South Florida is seeking a Service Technician to respond to customer calls with courtesy, respect, and professionalism. You bring the plumbing knowledge and experience to complete the required jobs and report to the Service Manager.

The position requires standing, lifting, and working outdoors in heat or rain, with clear English communication. You will diagnose, price labor and materials, obtain customer approval, and prepare invoices for the Service Department, including

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of plumbing experience.
• Knowledge of local plumbing codes and products.
• Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively.
• Clear written and verbal communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality work consistent with company requirements and complete work orders to the customer’s specifications.
• Diagnose and explain the work required, price labor and materials per company policy, and secure customer approval before work begins.
• Complete an invoice for each job, collect payment, and return documentation to the Service Department.
• Keep the Service Manager informed of travel, arrival, and completion status.
• Maintain assigned company vehicle, tools, and uniform standards.
• Participate in the after-hours/weekend on-call rotation as authorized.

The Service Technician for Kyle Plumbing II, Inc. is responsible for conducting themselves in a courteous, respectful, and professional manner when responding to customer calls. This individual has the plumbing knowledge and experience necessary to perform the required job tasks and duties. Reports directly to the Service Manager.

Requirements

• High school degree or equivalent
• Three (3) to five (5) years of plumbing experience
• General knowledge of local plumbing codes and plumbing products
• Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively
• Able to stand, stoop, lift from the floor, work ladders, and work outdoors in heat or rain
• Clear written and verbal communication in English
