Mark-Taylor, Inc. is hiring a Service Technician at Tavalo Cotton Lane in Litchfield, AZ. The role focuses on maintenance repairs, make-ready unit turnover, and community upkeep to deliver five-star service.

You will perform troubleshooting for HVAC, electrical, plumbing and appliances, conduct routine pool care, and handle basic carpentry and safety inspections while ensuring mark-taylor standards and safety protocols are met.

Qualifications

• General knowledge in plumbing, electrical, pool maintenance, HVAC, carpentry, landscaping and appliances.
• Knowledge of building systems.
• Service orientation.
• Basic computer skills.
• Experience as apartment turn, make-ready, or work order technician preferred.
• Basic understanding of written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the completion of make-ready units to Mark-Taylor standards and maintains adequate supply of make-ready units for the Community.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose and correct minor air conditioning and/or heating failures, appliance repairs, electrical problems, plumbing problems, minor carpentry, and drywall repairs.
• Perform necessary repairs and preventative maintenance on vacant units as they become available.
• Perform daily pool care, ensure pool is in proper chemical balance and area is free of safety concerns.
• Complete minor roof repairs, re-key locks, and cut keys.
• Inspect the property for safety hazards and correct or inform the Manager of Facilities and Service of any hazard.
• Share on-call duty with Manager of Facilities and Service, and service team members and be available in uniform/badge when needed.
• Assist in monitoring inventory of parts and cleaning supplies.

Compensation

• The anticipated base pay range for this position is $22.00/hour.
• All service team members who participate in the on-call rotation receive an additional $3.00/hour incentive for all hours worked while on-call.
• Additional hourly pay for EPA, CPO, and OSHA certifications***

Requirements

• Experience as apartment turn technician, make ready technician, or work order technician is highly desirable.
• A basic understanding of written and verbal English.

In This Role You Will
