Your role on our team:

This position is for a full-time student that has been selected to participate in the NHC Cooperative Education Scholarship Program. To be considered students must have a High School diploma, or equivalent and is enrolled or will be enrolling in an approved accredited Diesel Technology Program. Student, when available, will work for an assigned Nebraska Harvest Center location when not in school and during the summer months,


Description of Duties:
Repairs machines to the customer’s satisfaction in the field, shop or customers location. Removes, installs, repairs, disassembles, assembles, performs failure analyses of all CLAAS equipment including engines, electrical systems, hydraulics, transmissions, power train, brakes, steering, electronic and computer applications, heating and air conditioning (HVAC).

  • Troubleshoot and repair customer machines in shop or customer job sites.
  • Order parts, troubleshoot machine systems and research system problems.
  • Machinery Inspections, set-up, and adjustments,
  • Regular entry of labor hours, production of service reports and complete warranty reports as needed.
Your profile:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
  • Must be self-sufficient with a proven ability to work independently and a strong willingness to learn.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Farm background desirable, not required.
  • Must be able to meet deadlines and handle a high volume workload in a fast-paced environment with a strong attention to detail.
