Apartment Maintenance Technician Role

Sign-on Bonus: $700!

Pay ranges from $21-$25/hour, with bonuses and benefits as listed above. Benefits are available on the 1st of the month following 30 days of employment.

Location & Employment Details

Location: Downtown Pittsburgh, PA

Type: Full-Time

Minimum Experience: Two years maintenance experience and/or training. High School diploma or GED required; Trade School or Industry Training is a plus.

Role & Responsibilities

• Complete service requests, ensure resident satisfaction, and meet make-ready standards
• Participate in on-call shifts, including weekends and nights
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair issues in apartments and buildings
• Prepare apartments for leasing and new residents
• Maintain grounds, common areas, and amenities
• Perform preventative maintenance and inspections
• Assist in snow removal and emergency call rotation
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
• Provide excellent resident interactions, demonstrating professionalism and responsiveness
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs., standing, walking, climbing, and using tools as needed
• Work across various locations within the community and occasionally drive a personal vehicle

Candidate Profile

• Experience in building maintenance, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliance repair, carpentry, or construction
• Effective communication skills
• A strong desire to improve technical skills
• Ability to safely use small hand and power tools
• Organizational skills to handle a fast-paced environment
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record
