Solenis is seeking a Service Technician based in Lewiston, ID to support paper mill customers with preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and reliability improvements. The role emphasizes field service, technical problem solving, and close collaboration with customer teams.

You will perform inspections, data analysis, and equipment modifications to boost availability and yield while maintaining a strong safety culture and on-site operational support.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Ability to work in an industrial environment with heat/cold and noise.
• Must lift 50 lbs.
• Mechanical and electrical knowledge.
• Ability to analyze data and adjust applications to maintain performance.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel).
• Strong troubleshooting and interpersonal communication skills.
• Safety-minded with the ability to complete safety training.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repair of mechanical and electrical equipment and systems.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and diagnose equipment issues to ensure reliable operation.
• Conduct equipment failure analyses and support both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities.
• Evaluate equipment performance and recommend improvements to increase availability, capability, and production yield.
• Implement equipment modifications and process improvements to optimize system performance.
• Prepare technical reports documenting maintenance activities, equipment modifications, and maintenance procedures.
• Partner with customer personnel to maintain safe, efficient, and uninterrupted mill operations.
• Support on-site service activities and provide technical expertise at customer facilities.

What You'll Do

The expected compensation range for this position is between $52,760.00 and $77,374.00 plus discretionary bonuses. The exact compensation may vary based on your skills, experience and other factors permitted by law.
