Job summary

IRT Living's Bennington Pond in Groveport, OH is seeking a Service Technician to perform plumbing, electrical, appliance, and HVAC repairs and maintenance. You will inspect grounds and units, assist with apartment turns, and ensure safety and compliance while delivering excellent resident service.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in property maintenance, EPA I & II and CPO certifications, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift heavy loads. Training is provided and teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in property maintenance or related fields.
• EPA I & II and CPO certifications preferred.
• Ability to lift 45 lbs regularly and up to 80 lbs occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and complete repairs including plumbing, electrical, appliances, HVAC, and more.
• Conduct daily inspections of grounds, buildings, and common areas to identify maintenance needs.
• Assist with apartment turns, including painting, repairs, and unit preparation for new residents.
• Ensure tools and maintenance areas are organized and safe.
• Communicate effectively with residents and team members to provide excellent service.
• Participate in after-hours on-call rotation.
