Job summary

C&B Operations, LLC in Pipestone, Minnesota, is seeking a Service Technician to diagnose, service, and maintain customer and dealer-owned agricultural equipment. The technician will perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance while documenting work and time, and keeping current with John Deere and competitive products.

Qualifications

• Associates or better in Diesel Technology or related field, preferred.
• Ability to meet physical demands and duration of physical exertion.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Knowledge of methods, materials, tools and techniques used in the repair of machinery.
• Experience with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Valid driver's license and safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostics and repairs on agricultural farm equipment.
• Participates in training programs required for development of skills and knowledge.
• Completes all job notes and accounts for time and materials used.
• Maintains current product knowledge of John Deere and competitive products.
• Promotes and sells service department offerings to customers to increase safety and satisfaction.
• Follows safety procedures and works in a safe manner.

C & B Operations has grown over 35 years to include 38 John Deere dealerships in six states. We currently have an opening for a Service Technician for our location in Pipestone, Minnesota. This individual will perform diagnostics, service repairs and maintenance work on customer and/or dealer-owned agricultural equipment.

• Assists with other duties that may be assigned

Qualifications:

• Associates or better in Diesel Technology or related field, preferred
• Ability to meet physical demands and duration of physical exertion generally required to perform tasks in support of all job functions, for example - sitting, standing, walking, lifting, carrying, reaching, pushing, and pulling
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Knowledge of methods, materials, tools and techniques used in the repair of machinery, engines and other related equipment
• Experience with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
• Ability for critical thinking and resourcefulness to complete tasks
• Willingness to learn and train in new technologies
• Ability to work overtime to meet customer demands
• Valid Drivers License and a safe driving record
