Responsibilities

• Coordinate subcontractor work when specialized trades are required.
• Communicate professionally with homeowners and explain maintenance, warranty coverage, and home system operation.
• Ensure repairs meet quality standards, service timelines, and safety requirements.
• Maintain company vehicle, tools, equipment, and inventory.

The Service Technician provides warranty and customer care support to homeowners after closing by inspecting concerns, diagnosing issues, completing repairs, and coordinating follow-up work. This role requires strong construction knowledge, professionalism, and excellent customer service.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 5 years of residential construction, home repair, maintenance, or warranty service experience.
• Working knowledge of residential construction methods, materials, and building systems.
• Ability to complete carpentry, drywall, painting, and basic troubleshooting repairs.
• Strong customer service, communication, and time-management skills.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.

Preferred

• Experience with production home builders, warranty processes, or construction management software.
• Trade certifications or knowledge of local building codes preferred.
