Job summary

Rose Pest Solutions in Grand Rapids is seeking a Service Technician to manage a local route, build client relationships, and respond promptly to service needs. You’ll use investigative skills to identify root causes and deliver effective pest solutions while upholding Rose’s values of doing the right thing.

No prior experience? We’ll train you from the ground up, with opportunities for growth, a take-home company vehicle, and comprehensive benefits as you protect local homes and businesses.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old with a high school diploma (or equivalent).
• Comfortable using mobile apps, email, and basic computer use.
• Able to pass background and drug checks.

Responsibilities

Your Role as a Service Technician

No prior experience? No problem—we’ll train you from the ground up!

As a Service Technician, you’ll be the trusted point of contact between Rose and our clients. Each day you will:

• Manage an established route and build strong client relationships.
• Respond quickly to client needs and solve problems with urgency.
• Use investigative and deductive skills to find the root cause of issues.
• Provide solutions that reflect our value of doing the right thing.
• Collaborate with your team to ensure client satisfaction and consistent quality.
• Occasionally perform minor repairs or adjustments to help prevent pest issues.

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For

• At least 18 years old with a high school diploma (or equivalent)
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Comfortable with mobile apps, email, and basic computer use
• Observant, detail-oriented, and eager to learn
• Willing to work before 8 AM, after 5 PM, or some weekends
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record
• Able to pass background and drug checks
• Open to occasional overnight travel
