Job summary

Pensacola Honda, a Sonic Automotive family dealership, is seeking a Service Technician to perform vehicle repairs and maintenance according to dealer and factory standards. You may supervise apprentices and document all work to ensure quality and safety.

We offer pay starting at $20 per hour (depends on experience), paid time off, and sponsor training and certifications. A mentor supports your development, with a clear path from entry to top level and incremental pay for certification

Qualifications

• CSI is required for service quality.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Authorized to work in the USA.

Responsibilities

• Receive repair orders and assign to stall area.
• Perform repairs per repair orders with precision and safety.
• Diagnose malfunctions and perform repairs.
• Coordinate with parts department for needed parts.
• Save and tag parts for warranty or customer requests.
• Inspect vehicles for additional safety or service work.
• Notify service advisor if extra work isn’t needed or cannot be completed on time.
• Document work performed and test vehicles as required.
• Supervise apprentice technicians as assigned.
• Attend factory training classes and stay updated on bulletins.
• Keep customers' cars clean and shop tidy, control tools.
• Follow all safety policies and report accidents.
