We are currently seeking a skilled Service Technician to join our team! The Service Technician is responsible for performing various maintenance functions that are necessary to maintain and enhance the value of the community.
Responsibilities
- 1 to 3 years of experience in Community Management
- Ability to lift 25-100 lbs. on a regular basis
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Available to assist in after-hours emergency situations
- Available for night/weekend call duty
- Comfortable working during inclement weather
- Inspect property and report any safety hazards or needed repairs to Service Manager
- Assist with hazardous weather problems (fires, floods, freezing temperatures, snow removal, etc.)
- Accompany vendors in occupied units for services (pest control, property inspections, etc.)
- Assist office staff with delivery of resident notices
- Repair/replace locks, smoke alarms
- Perform electrical repairs
- Conduct roofing inspections and minor roof repairs
Qualifications
- HVAC certification required
- Proficiency in repair/maintenance tasks (locks, alarms, electrical, roofing, etc.)
Preferred Skills
- Intermediate verbal communication
- Some knowledge of painting, appliance repair, electrical repair, plumbing
Salary & Benefits
