Job summary

ALL Crane Service, LLC in Independence, OH is seeking a Service Technician & Mechanic for our fleet of heavy-duty trucks. This full-time, non-exempt role offers a comprehensive benefits package and a $300 sign-on bonus after 100 days of successful employment.

You will troubleshoot, maintain, and repair heavy-duty trucks, read manuals and drawings, and work closely with service writers, supervisors, and customers.

Qualifications

• Experience performing DOT inspections is a plus.
• Strong diesel engine, hydraulic and electrical background.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Must have basic set of mechanic’s hand tools.
• Able to lift 50 lbs.
• Upfitting Peterbilt/Kenworth tractors is a plus.
• Experience with Cummins INSITE is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, preventive maintenance, and repair on heavy-duty trucks in the fleet.
• Diagnose, repair, adjust, and modify components as needed.
• Read operating manuals, parts manuals, blueprints and drawings.

Position Summary

ALL Crane Service, located in Independence, OH is seeking a Service Technician & Mechanic - Heavy Duty Truck to keep our fleet up and running. This is a full-time, non-exempt position with comprehensive benefits package in a shop environment. This position is eligible for a $300 sign-on bonus after 100 days of continuous, successful employment.

Essential Functions

• Responsible for troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and repair on heavy duty trucks in the ALL fleet
• Diagnose, repair, adjust, and modify components as needed
• Reads, understands and interprets operating manuals, parts manuals, blueprints and technical drawings
• Positive interface with service writers, supervisor, parts department and customers
• Prepare proper documentation of actions taken
• Maintain conformity to safety requirements and other regulations
• Other duties as assigned

Skills and Experience Requirements

• Experience performing DOT inspections is a plus
• Must have a strong diesel engine, hydraulic and electrical background
• Strong initiative required; ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision
• Must have basic set of mechanic’s hand tools
• Ability to work safely around moving machinery; to work in conditions with marked changes in temperature & humidity
• Able to lift 50 lbs
• Previous experience upfitting new Peterbilt & Kenworth tractors is a plus
• Experience with diagnostic software such as Cummins INSITE is highly desired
