ALL Sunshine Crane Rental Corp. in Apopka, FL seeks a Crane, Truck and Heavy Equipment Service Technician & Diesel Mechanic. Hands-on crane equipment experience is a big plus. This full-time, non-exempt role includes a $300 sign-on bonus after 100 days of continuous employment.

You will troubleshoot, maintain, repair cranes and heavy trucks, interpret manuals and drawings, and ensure safety compliance. CDL is desirable but not required.

Qualifications

• Strong initiative and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Background in diesel engines, hydraulics and electrical systems.
• Must have a basic set of mechanic’s hand tools.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and work around moving machinery.
• CDL desirable but not required; experience with Kenworth/Peterbilt a plus.

Position Summary

ALL Sunshine Crane Rental, located in Apopka seeking a Crane, Truck and Heavy Equipment Service Technician & Diesel Mechanic. Hands-on experience with cranes and lift equipment is a big plus. This is a full-time, non-exempt position with comprehensive benefits package. This position is eligible for a $300.00 sign-on bonus after 100 days of continuous employment.

Essential Functions

• Responsible for troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair on all makes of cranes, heavy duty trucks and other equipment
• Diagnose, repair, adjust, and modify components as needed
• Reads, understands and interprets operating manuals, parts manuals, and technical drawings
• Positive interface with service writers, supervisor, parts department and customers
• Prepare proper documentation of actions taken
• Able to work with diagnostic equipment for troubleshooting and repairs
• Maintain conformity to safety requirements and other regulations

Skills And Experience Requirements

• Strong initiative required; ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision
• Must have a strong diesel engine, hydraulic and electrical background
• Must have basic set of mechanic’s hand tools
• Ability to work safely around moving machinery; to work in conditions with marked changes in temperature & humidity
• Previous experience with Kenworth and Peterbilt trucks is a plus
• A CDL is desirable but not required
• Able to lift 50 pounds
