Job summary

ADT is seeking a Residential Service Technician to troubleshoot, configure, reconstruct and program security and site automation solutions for homes and businesses in the Orlando area.

You will service fire and carbon monoxide detection, networking, hosted video solutions, and access control while following established procedures. A customer-service mindset, strong communication skills, and a valid driver's license are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Service experience is preferred.
• Technical aptitude for security systems and site automation.
• Strong verbal communication with customers and colleagues.
• Customer focused and driven to protect customers' property.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, configure, reconstruct and program existing security and site automation solutions.
• Services fire and CO detection, networking, hosted video solutions and access control.
• Follow and complete required wired/wireless procedures and connection steps.
• Test and validate system signals with central monitoring and ensure proper service delivery.

The Residential Service Technician’s primary functions and responsibilities are that of troubleshooting, configuring, reconstructing and programming existing security and site automation solutions.

What are your key responsibilities?

• Services fire and carbon monoxide detection, networking, hosted video solutions, and access control.
• Follow and complete required processes of wired/wireless technology and connection procedures.
• Test and validate system signals/communication with central monitoring to properly establish service.
• A customer service champion, demonstrating the willingness to help our customers fix as well as understand the protection in their home.
