Job summary

ADT Security Services is seeking a Residential Service Technician to troubleshoot, configure, and program existing security and site automation solutions at residential and small business sites.

You will test signals, validate communications with central monitoring, and ensure timely service while delivering excellent customer support and protection insights. A valid driver's license and a high school diploma are required; company benefits begin after 31 days.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school education or equivalent required.
• Strong technical aptitude and customer-focused mindset.
• Valid driver's license and ability to work in customers' homes.

Responsibilities

• Service fire and carbon monoxide detection, networking, hosted video, and access control.
• Follow and complete wired/wireless tech and connection procedures.
• Test and validate system signals/communication with central monitoring.
• Be a customer service champion, helping customers understand protection at home.

The Residential Service Technician’s primary functions and responsibilities are that of troubleshooting, configuring, reconstructing and programming existing security and site automation solutions.

What are your key responsibilities?

• Services fire and carbon monoxide detection, networking, hosted video solutions, and access control.
• Follow and complete required processes of wired/wireless technology and connection procedures.
• Test and validate system signals/communication with central monitoring to properly establish service.
• A customer service champion, demonstrating the willingness to help our customers fix as well as understand the protection in their home.
