Job description

Field Service Technician - Multiple States (Maplewood, MN)

Base pay range: $28.18/yr - $37.97/yr per year. Merit Chevrolet is a family-owned dealership that has been operated by the same family for over 72 years, offering a supportive work environment and comprehensive training.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership procedures.
• Test‑drive vehicles and evaluate components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems—including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, and more.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor to inform customers of any additional service needed and provide estimates of time required.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
