Job Description

Sunbelt Technology is looking for a Service Technician to work closely with our Tech support in dispatching to clients' homes and businesses needing assistance. Typically, we schedule 4-5 calls a day depending on issues. This position works very closely with our clients out in the field. We are looking for a full-time employee that is highly organized. The technical and service team is the lifeblood of our company as they deliver the client's experience and satisfaction. They are expected to arrive at the office on time every day between 8-8:15 am. The conclusion of the workday will most likely be 5 pm, with the possibility of days ending earlier or later depending on projects. This candidate will be provided with transportation in a company-provided vehicle, of themselves and materials to and from project locations. They will be responsible for assisting in maintaining the vehicle and its contents, including cleanliness.

An understanding of the following is required: Audio/Video Systems, Wireless Networks, Wired Data Networks, Category Series Cabling, Control Systems specifically Control4, and use of hand-tools. An applicant will also have some experience in this or adjacent industries.

Skills Required:

• The neatness of installation and attention to detail is a must
• Excellent communication with Lead Technician, Project Managers, and the rest of the team
• Good bedside manner with clients
• Desire to advance in the position
• Must be able to lift at least 70 pounds
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Must have a means of commute
• Organized and efficient
• Passion for the industry
• Must speak English
