Job summary

Vestas in Berlin is seeking a Service Technician (m/f/d) on a full-time basis. You will join flexible service teams across Germany to maintain and repair the main components of wind turbines.

You will complete vocational training in electrical engineering, mechatronics, or mechanical engineering, document work digitally, and use SAP and Microsoft Office. A driving licence B and proficiency in German and English help you succeed.

Qualifications

• Fluent German and good English language skills.
• Willing to travel within Germany weekly.
• Driving licence B.
• Experience with SAP and Microsoft Office is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Replace and repair main components of wind turbines as part of a flexible service team.
• Travel across Germany to construction sites within the week, return home on weekends.
• Collaborate with external service providers for cranes and transport.
• Document work digitally in a simple and efficient way.

Responsibilities

• During the working week, you will be deployed throughout Germany and work in flexible service teams of around seven technicians
• Working as part of a team, you will be responsible for replacing and repairing the main/large components of wind turbines
• Your work will also involve collaborating with external service providers, e.g. for the use of telescopic mobile cranes and transport companies
• You document your work digitally in a simple and efficient way

Profile

• You are willing to travel within Germany during the week; you will be back home at the weekend
• You have completed vocational training in electrical engineering, mechatronics or mechanical engineering
• You can prepare and document technical reports independently
• You are familiar with working with Microsoft and iOS operating systems and apps, and ideally have experience with SAP
• You are comfortable working at heights and can operate safely above ground level
• You have a driving licence B
• Very good German and good English skills round off your profile
