Job summary

Shottenkirk Automotive Group is seeking a Service Technician Lift Kit Installer to diagnose, maintain, and repair customer vehicles at our Texas dealership. The role requires ASE certification, solid communication, and the ability to use diagnostic tools.

You will perform repairs per repair orders, test drive vehicles, explain components to customers, and uphold safety and quality standards in a fast-paced shop environment.

Qualifications

• ASE certificate is required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
• Clean driving record and valid driver’s license.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order efficiently per dealership standards.
• Test drive vehicles, explain components and systems, using diagnostic tools and service equipment.

The responsibilities of a Service Technician include diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing customer vehicles. They will have an ASE certificate and great communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership
• Test drive vehicles, talk through components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnose, maintain and repair vehicle automotive systems

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Fast, eager learner and team player
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Computer skills and willingness to learn new problems
• Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
• Clean driving record & valid driver’s license
