DePaula Chevrolet is seeking a Level B Service Technician with strong diagnostic skills and a commitment to quality workmanship. This full-time role features a $2,000 sign-on bonus and a competitive flat-rate pay range.

You’ll diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles, perform NYS inspections when qualified, and collaborate with a professional service team to ensure safety and customer satisfaction.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 1 year of automotive service/repair experience.
• Valid NYS Driver’s License with clean driving record.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

What You'll Do:

As a Level B Service Technician, you’ll play an important role in keeping our customers’ vehicles safe, reliable, and performing at their best.

Responsibilities include:

• Perform routine maintenance and automotive repairs.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical concerns.
• Perform brake, suspension, steering, exhaust, cooling, and drivability repairs.
• Complete vehicle inspections and identify recommended repairs.
• Perform NYS safety and emissions inspections when qualified.
• Use diagnostic tools and equipment to accurately identify vehicle concerns.
• Follow manufacturer specifications and established repair procedures.
• Maintain accurate repair orders and documentation.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of automotive service/repair experience.
• Valid New York State Driver’s License and Clean driving record.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Reliable, dependable, and committed to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred:

• Valid NYS Motor Vehicle Inspector License.
• ASE Certification.
• Automotive technical training or additional industry certifications.
• Experience with computerized diagnostic equipment.
