Job summary

Kenly 95's TA Service Center is hiring a Full-Time Service Technician starting at $17/hour. You will work on diesel trucks and 18-wheelers, diagnose problems, perform preventive maintenance, and respond to service needs with on-site training.

No prior technician experience is required—we train the right candidate. This on-site, 24-hour capable shop offers benefits, tool and boot allowances, and opportunities to gain hands-on experience in a busy service environment.

Join the TA Service Center team at Kenly 95 as a Service Technician and work on diesel trucks, 18-wheelers, and a wide variety of mechanical repairs. You\'ll diagnose problems, perform preventative maintenance, respond to service needs, and gain valuable technical experience through on-site training. No prior technician experience is required — we will train the right candidate.

Requirements

• As a Service Technician, you\'ll help keep drivers moving by diagnosing and repairing diesel truck issues safely and efficiently.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on diesel trucks and 18-wheelers.
• Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and oil changes.
• Respond to service calls and urgent repair needs to minimize driver downtime.
• Use diagnostic equipment and technical tools to identify problems.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Complete quality repairs while following safety and service standards.
• Communicate effectively with customers, drivers, and management.

Our service center operates 24 hours, providing a variety of available hours and opportunities for overtime.

What We're Looking For

We\'re looking for a dependable, mechanically minded problem solver who takes pride in quality work and is ready to learn.

• Experience: No prior technician experience required. We provide on-site training.
• Driver\'s License: A valid driver\'s license and clean driving record are required to operate a company vehicle.
• Mechanical Mindset: Ability to learn diagnostic tools, read schematics, and troubleshoot mechanical problems.
• Independent Worker: You can work safely and effectively with minimal supervision.
• Physical Ability: Must be comfortable lifting up to 75 lbs. and performing hands-on mechanical work.
• Screening Requirements: Must successfully complete a physical, background check, DMV check, and drug screen.

On completion of our on-site training, you\'ll be positioned to build your technical career with Kenly 95. This is an on-site position and is not remote. Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment drug test and background check. Random drug testing may also be required during employment. Kenly 95 is unable to sponsor employment visas.
