Job summary

ADT Security Services is seeking a Residential Service Technician to troubleshoot and service security systems for homes and businesses. You will advise customers and the care center of system status and assist with inspections.

Responsibilities include locating and repairing damaged equipment, readjusting and testing, reading blueprints, coordinating inspections with police or fire departments, and preparing trouble order forms for temporary repairs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• NICET Level 3 Certification preferred.
• Minimum 8 years experience installing and inspecting/repairing ADT or comparable product.

Position Summary

The Residential Service Technician is a troubleshooter and service expert who is responsible for alleviating concerns the customer may have regarding a security system. The Residential Service Technician advises customers and the customer care center of the status of systems and processes inspections.

Education/Certification

Experience

Pay and Benefits Disclosure

The pay range for this role is $19.53 - $36.27 an hour and is based on experience and qualifications. We offer employees access to healthcare benefits, a 401(k)plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, and paid time off, among others. Employees accrue up to 120 hours in their first year. Your accrual rate increases after your first year. We also offer 6 paid holidays.

In the event a position is commission-based, compensation is solely based on the individual's sales volume. This applies only to commission roles.
