Job summary

Corvant seeks a Service Technician IV to install, service, and maintain a broad range of commercial HVAC systems across mission-critical facilities. The role requires travel as needed and a proven background in inspection, repair, and maintenance of HVAC equipment.

You will diagnose diverse systems including packaged rooftops, split systems, boilers, and chillers, perform preventative maintenance, and support field technicians.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow and communicate instructions both verbally and written.
• Mastery of HVAC components and terminology.
• Experience with inspection, repair, and maintenance of HVAC equipment.
• Experience w/ HVAC systems start-up/commissioning.
• Working knowledge of leak detection, evacuation, recovery, charging, heat pumps and air quality systems.
• Working knowledge of service tools and testing devices.
• Ability to follow and communicate instructions both verbally and written.

Responsibilities

• Perform assigned HVAC maintenance and troubleshooting tasks safely in a commercial and industrial setting.
• Service, diagnose and troubleshoot various commercial systems including packaged rooftops, split systems, boilers, chillers, etc.
• Perform preventative maintenance and repair commercial HVAC equipment.
• Provide technical support in the field to other technicians.
• Obtain an NCCER Performance Evaluator credential and support learning in the field.

Job Description

The Service Technician IV is responsible for completing installation, service, and maintenance on various commercial HVAC systems. Must have experience with inspection, repair, and maintenance of HVAC equipment. This position requires travel as needed.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma Required. Technical school preferred.
• OSHA 10 Preferred
• EPA Certified
• Valid Drivers’ License
• Minimum 5 plus years of HVAC experience required.

Physical requirements

• Required to stand, walk, and sit.
• Talk or hear, both in person and by telephone.
• Use hand (s) and fingers to handle or feel objects or controls.
• Reach with hand (s) and arm (s).
• Regularly required to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch and lift up to 50 pounds.
