Job summary

DeSHAZO, LLC is seeking an experienced Overhead Crane Service Technician to travel to customer facilities for inspection, troubleshooting, repair and modification of electric overhead cranes and related material handling systems.

The role requires 3–5 years of crane service or industrial electrician experience, strong communication skills, and willingness to travel, including potential overnight assignments. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are essential.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years crane service or industrial electrician experience.
• Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication.
• Willing to travel and work in production environments (overnight travel possible).
• Candidate must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Proficient with company phone and computer; able to complete electronic forms promptly.
• Ability to work extended hours and on holidays, as required.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer facilities to inspect, troubleshoot, repair and modify electric overhead cranes and related equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on overhead bridge cranes and related systems.
• Document service activities clearly and report findings to customers and internal teams.

Job description

Job Type: Full-time

The Overhead Crane Service Technician travel to customer production facilities to inspect, troubleshoot, repair and modify electric overhead bridge cranes and related material handling equipment.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• 3-5 years of crane service technician or industrial electrician experience.
• Must have strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Demonstrate the ability to learn mechanical and industrial skills.
• Candidate must be willing to travel and work in production environments (some overnight travel is possible).
• Good driving record to be covered under the DeSHAZO insurance policy.
• Ability to operate company phone and computer.
• Ability to complete electronic forms in a timely manner.
• Ability to work extended hours, and on holidays, as required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to stand/walk 95% of the workday.
• Lift/Carry up to 40-50 pounds unassisted.
• Squat, twist, reach, climb, and bend frequently.
• Ability to push/pull material with equipment assistance.
• Possess hand/eye coordination and bilateral dexterity (gross and fine).
• Possess depth perception and peripheral vision.
• Possess the ability to hear.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Subject to working frequently at considerable heights.
• Exposure to hot and cold conditions.
