Job summary

DeSHAZO, LLC is seeking an Overhead Crane Service Technician to travel to customer production facilities to inspect, troubleshoot, repair and modify electric overhead bridge cranes and related material handling equipment.

The role requires 3–5 years of relevant experience, strong communication, and willingness to travel; candidates must be able to work in production environments, lift up to 50 pounds, and be comfortable with extended hours.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years crane service or industrial electrician experience.
• Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to learn mechanical and industrial skills.
• Willingness to travel and work in production environments (overnight travel possible).
• Valid driving record under company policy.
• Ability to operate company phone and computer.
• Ability to complete electronic forms promptly.
• Flexibility to work extended hours and holidays as required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, repair and modify electric overhead bridge cranes and related material handling equipment.
• Travel to customer production facilities to perform service tasks and upgrades.

The Overhead Crane Service Technician travel to customer production facilities to inspect, troubleshoot, repair and modify electric overhead bridge cranes and related material handling equipment.

Minimum Qualifications

• 3-5 years of crane service technician or industrial electrician experience.
• Must have strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Demonstrate the ability to learn mechanical and industrial skills.
• Candidate must be willing to travel and work in production environments (some overnight travel is possible).
• Good driving record to be covered under the DeSHAZO insurance policy
• Ability to operate company phone and computer.
• Ability to complete electronic forms in a timely manner.
• Ability to work extended hours, and on holidays, as required.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand/walk 95% of the workday.
• Lift /Carry up to 40-50 pounds unassisted.
• Squat, twist, reach, climb, and bend frequently.
• Ability to push/pull material with equipment assistance.
• Possess hand/eye coordination and bilateral dexterity (gross and fine).
• Possess depth perception and peripheral vision.
• Possess the ability to hear.

Working Conditions

• Subject to working frequently at considerable heights.
• Exposure to hot and cold conditions.
