Job summary

Ambient Enterprises is seeking an HVAC Service Technician to handle start-up and ongoing service of commercial HVAC equipment across our New Jersey area. The role demands hands-on troubleshooting, reliability, independence, and clear communication with clients and team members.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of field experience with commercial heating and air conditioning, EPA Universal certification, a clean driving record, and the ability to mentor others. OSHA 30 is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years field experience with commercial heating and air conditioning.
• Knowledge of commercial air-conditioning, heating, water source heat pumps & rooftop packaged HVAC systems.
• Startup experience.
• Mentored others in the field.
• Must have your own hand tools.
• Must have a clean driving record.
• EPA Universal.

• Self-starter, great communication skills, timely.

Our HVAC service team provides start-up services for complex HVAC equipment from a wide range of manufacturers, as well as ongoing preventive maintenance, break/fix repair, and equipment retrofit services. Our Ambient team includes experienced professionals who focus on cost-effective solutions for our clients.

Job Description Role: Service Technician - HVAC

The HVAC Service Technician specializes in the start-up and service of equipment for a variety of applications of air-conditioning, heating, ventilation, humidity control and energy management. We are searching for both experienced and entry-level HVAC technicians to help support the growing service business. The candidate must be able to troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems, be dependable, independent, and have communication and organizational skills. This role would service our NJ area.

Estimated Salary

$35/hourly - $55/hourly based on experience and skills plus benefits
