Service Technician - Heavy Duty Diesel (Winamac, IN)

Vander Haag’s has a great opportunity for an experiencedDiesel Service Technician to join our team inWinamac, Indiana.

ASE Certification is preferred, but not required. Vander Haag’s offers:

• Hourly base pay that reflects your experience in the industry.

• Work in a clean, well-lit, air conditioned shop, complete with overhead hoists and shop equipment.

At Vander Haag’s, no two days are exactly the same. You get the opportunity to work on a wide range of different heavy duty truck makes and models! General duties include:

• All types of medium and heavy duty truck repair
• Engine diagnostics and overhauls
• Drivetrain
• Electrical
• DOT inspections
• PM maintenance
• Hydraulic systems
• Fabrication

Hours: Day shift hours, Monday through Friday. No evenings, weekends, or holidays required!

Compensation: This position pays an hourly base compensation + overtime. Hourly rate will range from $20.00/hour up to $40.00/hour. Hourly rate is dependent upon experience and qualifications (e.g., ASE Certifications, etc.).

Tools: Vander Haag’s offers flexible arrangements to assist you with the purchase of additional tools (if necessary). We also sell Milwaukee power tools right at our store locations!
