As a Service Technician, you will work at one of our beautiful communities, representing Mark-Taylor by delivering exceptional customer service while maintaining the physical asset and community grounds.

You're Excited About This Role Because You Will:

• Assist in completing make-ready units to Mark-Taylor standards and maintain an adequate supply of these units for the community.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and correct minor air conditioning/heating failures, appliance repairs, electrical problems, plumbing issues, minor carpentry, and drywall repairs.
• Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on vacant units as they become available.
• Perform daily pool care, ensuring proper chemical balance and safety.
• Complete minor roof repairs, re-key locks, and cut keys.
• Inspect the property for safety hazards, correct them, and inform the Manager of Facilities and Service.
• Share on-call duties with the Manager of Facilities and Service and be available to respond to property needs, in uniform/badge.
• Assist in monitoring inventory of parts and supplies.

• 6 months to 1 year of experience in a Service/Maintenance Technician role.
• Knowledge in Plumbing, Electrical, Pool Maintenance, HVAC, Carpentry, Landscape Maintenance, Appliances, and OSHA standards.
• Understanding of building systems.
• Service-oriented attitude.
• Basic computer skills.
• Experience as an apartment turn, make-ready, or work order technician is highly desirable.
• Basic written and verbal English skills.

The starting hourly pay for Service Technicians is $22.00, depending on experience and community complexity. The schedule may include weekends, with a rotating on-call schedule and additional shift differential pay.
