Job summary

Canteen North America in Abilene, TX is seeking a maintenance technician to repair and install vending machines and related equipment. The role follows a Monday–Friday, 7:00 am–4:00 pm schedule with full-time benefits and paid time off as applicable by law.

Responsibilities include responding to repair dispatches, inspecting machines, replacing worn parts, and assisting with installations. Prior technician experience is preferred, and willingness to be trained if necessary.

Responsibilities

• Respond to dispatch calls for machine repairs using company‑owned vehicle.
• Call customers to determine adequacy of service and resolve complaints.
• Visually inspect machines to determine causes of malfunctions; dismantle machines to access problem area.
• Inspect parts for wear or misalignment, remove and replace defective parts, repair broken parts, realign and adjust components, test machine operation.
• Review inventory and order parts; handle shipping and receiving of machines; maintain equipment inventory.
• Prepare machines for installation; assist in installations and removals.
• Set up and operate mechanical equipment and hand tools (drills, grinders, welding torches) for machine repair.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Location & Schedule

Canteen – 1075 East Highway 80, Abilene, TX 79601. Full‑time schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 4:00 pm.

Pay & Benefits

• Fixed pay: $20.00 per hour.
