Canteen, a division of Compass Group USA, is hiring for a full-time Machine Installation Technician in Garner, NC. The role involves loading, installing, and servicing vending machines at various client locations, with a focus on safety and accuracy in setup and testing of payment systems.

We seek candidates with prior machine installation experience. Schedule is Monday through Friday, and online applications are accepted.

• Complete electronic work orders and capture before/after photos; collect client signatures.

• Pay Range: $18.00per hour to$21.00per hour.
• Additional Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Load, secure, transport, and unload heavy commercial vending machines safely using box trucks, lift gates, ramps, and specialized appliance dollies all while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Install new equipment or safely disconnect and remove old machines from various client locations (offices, schools, hospitals), ensuring no damage to the premises.
  • Level machines, connect water and electrical lines, configure internal shelves, test coin/card payment systems, and verify proper temperature controls upon installation.
  • Navigate daily assigned routes efficiently, complete all scheduled stops, and manage unexpected site delays professionally.
  • Complete electronic work orders, take before/after photos of installations, track inventory serial numbers, and collect client signatures. Internal Employee Referral Bonus Available

Job Summary

Summary: Repairs, maintains and assists in the installation of vending machines and equipment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responds to dispatch calls for machine repairs using company-owned vehicle.
• Calls on existing customers to determine adequacy of service; listens to and resolves service complaints.
• Visually inspects and listens to machines to determine causes of malfunctions; dismantles machines to gain access to problem area.
• Inspect parts to detect wear, misalignment or other problems; removes and replaces worn or defective parts; repairs broken parts; realign and adjust components; tests machine operation following repair.
• Reviews inventory and orders parts; ships and receives machines; maintains equipment inventory.
• Prepares machines for installation at accounts; assists in installations and removals.
• Sets up and operates mechanical equipment and small hand tools, such as drills, grinders and welding torches, for machine repair.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
