Job summary

Pauli Ford in Saint Johns, MI is seeking a Mid-Level Automotive Service Technician with 2–5 years of experience to join our OEM-focused team. The role offers competitive pay and paid factory training to keep you up to date with Ford, Lincoln, and EV technology.

You will diagnose, maintain, and repair electrical, mechanical, drivability, and HVAC systems on Ford and mixed‑make vehicles, perform routine maintenance, and document work clearly.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of automotive repair experience in a shop or dealership.
• ASE certifications preferred or Ford STST certifications.
• Strong mechanical aptitudes and diagnostic/troubleshooting skills.
• Must bring your own basic tool set.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair electrical, mechanical, drivability, and HVAC systems on Ford and mixed‑make vehicles.
• Perform routine maintenance including brake service, fluid flushes, suspension, and multi‑point inspections.
• Utilize Ford IDS/FDRS to accurately troubleshoot complex vehicle issues.
• Document work clearly on repair orders and communicate with Service Advisors regarding additional needed repairs.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient workstation while meeting production goals.
